I was checking @cupidslyres blog (amazing btw go check it out) and I found this:

Im here to prove why this is super wrong.

Ok first of all, Inuyasha and Kikyo's trust issue.

Kikyo and Inuyasha never truthfully trusted each other, but that's because of the environment they lived in. Kikyo was a priestess trained to eliminate any youkai she encountered, she was then tasked with protection the Shikon Jewel and prevent it from being stolen by any youkai, Kikyo was told not to trust any youkai's at all. Inuyasha is a half-demon, who was discriminated and bullied by both youkai and human, he had to learn how to defend himself from the world that was always threatening him, and that implies that trusting people was something that compromised his safety. So its natural that they couldnt allow themselves to trust each other, they were told that people like them couldn't be trusted.

But even with all of this in mind, they became closer and eventually fell in love with each other. However, they couldn't allow themselves to lower their guard completely, Kikyo needed to protect the jewel and Inuyasha needed to survive. And that was what Naraku used to trick them into killing each other, their lack of trust.

Now, Kagome just sitting Inuyasha when he thinks about Kikyo. Again also false.

Kagome all throughout the series showed that she was more than ok with Inuyasha going to aid Kikyo if she needed. She even encouraged him to go look for her. Yes she got mad and yes she was jealous but she faces it and understands its a normal feeling and it doesn't stop her for wanting Kikyo's safety and Inuyasha's happiness. Also, the only time Kagome goes back to her time after seen Inuyasha and Kikyo together is episode 47 but this allowed both Inuyasha and Kagome the time and space to reflex. Episode 48 is all about Kagome understanding Inuyasha's position and facing her own feelings. Kagome accepts she is in love with Inuyasha and she admitted she is jealous of Kikyo, but she still wants Inuyasha to be happy no matter what and makes the decision to stay by his side knowing it could hurt her feelings.

And lastly, saying that Inuyasha never trusted Kagome, you just straight up didn't watch the show.

Kagome was the first one to know about his human night. Kagome was the first person (besides his mother) to accept and love him as a hanyo. Kagome was the first person he opened up about his feelings and past trauma. Kagome was the first person that cried for him (again, besides his mother) and the first time Inuyasha ever cried was because of Kagome.

Pls go watch Inuyasha's love confession. That is pretty much everything I just said SAID BY INUYASHA HIMSELF.

Just to finish up I want to say that I absolutely do not hate Kikyo what so ever. She is one of the best characters ever created and I love her. Im just pointing the obvious.

ok so stranger in a strange land starts off kinda cool its like oooo there’s this weird alien guy and we think he’s from mars! but he looks human but he doesn’t understand human language or customs at all he comes from an utterly different culture. so the parts where he’s talking about peaceful communal martian culture and free love etc are really interesting and cool! especially contrasted with (american) earth culture’s individualism and strict sexual morals and capitalism.

and then you get like halfway through and realise the book actually exists so heinlein can write diatribes spoken by his self-insert character who saves our martian man (mike) and jill and the others and gets to pontificate for pages on pages on pages about his big rich house and ideas on religion and society that are like. so obviously just heinlein’s own in the world’s most obnoxious way because the narrative just lavishes adoration and attention on this rando self-insert that doesn’t show up until a third(?) into the book and he just knows everrryyything and is so rich and intelligent and calm and able to handle everything he’s sooooo perfect.

and then the book becomes unbearably misogynistic and homophobic. like mike the martian starts what’s basically a cult around his martian ideals (which i don’t necessary disagree with — some/most of his ideals around community and sex are cool) but heinlein has to say like every other page that ohhh yeah sure we’re all having crazy polyamorous sex all the time and living together in harmony BUT NO GAY PPL. NO HOMOS BTW. ok maybe two women if a man is into it but no homosexuals that’s disgusting and unnatural. anyway lets have more straight sex and talk about how women are biologically inferior and it’s their fault they get sexually assaulted and also did you know heinlein’s self-insert character is so beloved and cool and amazing and has great opinions like how all religion is stupid bullshit and r/atheism is the most based sub ever.

•they gave each other their addresses, if u think them being grounded off the computer was gonna stop em from talking u were sooooo wrong. sometimes cyrly just sends pony a glitter bomb, like i said internet troll over here

•pony sometimes draws curly and sends it over to him, its somewhere hung up on his wall. if anyone ever asks, he tells em he scammed this artist into drawing it for him, he told that story to tim but tim didnt believe him at ALL. next time curly was on call w pony, tim crashed it and started questioning pony. pony was scared shitless❤️

•if ponys moving to tulsa i feel like he also told curly the location of where and curly the little fucking creep he is has been leaving lil notes for pony to see, even carved ponys name on multiple trees so pony couldnt miss it. when pony eventually does move in curly secretly gives him a week to find em all before he just tells pony he did it and shows him around to see them
